about

"After enjoying recent success, with releases on Wheel and Deal and Decarhythm, Konvex launches his own label - 'Delay Circuit’ through which to continue to explore the lines between techno and dubstep.

DLY001 features five tracks from the head honcho himself, including a collaboration with fiery young talent Subject, who is no doubt set for big things in the coming months.

Fusing a pallete of industrial sounds often characterised by the various offshoots of techno, each track is grounded by a seering backdrop of atmospherics, while the 140 template lends a particular sense of urgency to the release as a whole. The sound design and emphasis on sub-bass plunges each track to nautical depths, adding both an offing for the ear to be lost amongst while a suitable pummelling of kicks and razor sharp percussion takes place in the foreground."
